Because I couldn't restrain myself I made this tiny embroidery of Norway's fish. It's 1 3/8 x 1 inch or 3,5 x 2,5 cm on size 18 Aida.

Now that I have this out of my system and no scraps of Aida lurking at me and telling me to use them *now* I can go back to what I started this morning: Denmark.

Artwork from this comic by :iconhumon: all I did was convert it to an embroidery pattern and make that.

You are so prolific and creative!

I was almost disappointed to read that you're going back to working on Denmark now - I was wondering what prop you would make for Sweden! A usb stick maybe?

Thanks :D I *think* I have finally reached the end of my art block :) Now my challenge is to keep up with myself and actually finish what I start hehe

Sweden is lined up too but I'd started Denmark first ;) Sweden does indeed have a prop.. but which one I'm keeping secret

Wouldn't it be cool if they were buttons? I'd totally sew some onto a jean jacket,
then I'd turn Beer Ghost into a bag with an Iceland Demon hat. :yum: Would lurv
ta rock tha look. XD

They are about the right size to make rather large fabric covered buttons actually :D

Although if one made it even smaller (1 inch width) you'd end up with this: [link]

I can totally see you rocking the look :D

I've got to do it now, I've thought up an entire outfit, I
wish there was an SatW title pattern. I'd make one, but I'm
somehow increadably poor at it. :/ Ah well. I'll start work
on the outfit in a bit, need a distraction, anyhow, but I'll
prolly only make it for my daughter (she's 6). Children's
clothes are less expensive and less time consuming.

To bad I don't know how to make shoes, some calf high sneekers
would be so fricken awesome! :XD: If it turns out well I might
even do a male version of the outfit.

Oh awesome :D

If you give me an image I can make a pattern for it :) I too generally tend to make more stuff for the kids clothing wise than for myself - but then I have 2 boys and they like what I make :)

I'm not too sure how to make shoes either :/

This could be a repeating border.
