I Love you most...
The craft I love the most is, as most people who know me already know, cross stitch. So for my journal I'm going to feature some cross stitched works that I love. Please go give the artists some
First of all I'm going to highlight my friend Mattsma (https://www.deviantart.com/mattsma) 's DD that she was given last month - it was her first and I'm so happy for her!
Cross stitch is often used for ornaments but it's so much more! It can be abstract...
like this embroidery by AllisonWhtArtist (https://www.deviantart.com/allisonwhtartist) who says this one feels more scatterbrained. I like it - it's something you can look at for a while and your eyes keep wandering around.
More traditional...

2019 SAL's
I thought I'd let you know that I'd made an overview blog post for all of the 2019 SAL's I'll be hosting - the NFSAL will continue this year here on dA - Mattsma (https://www.deviantart.com/mattsma) will tell all when the time comes for more details :)
You can read all about the SAL's here: https://magicalquilts.blogspot.com/2018/12/sals-for-2019-overview-of-plans-and-days.html
Have a great weekend!
SALs and other stuff
Hiya all,
I thought I'd write a journal about my SALs and other stuff that I'm up to over on my blog - just in case you'd missed it as I'm a lot more active over there than I am here. It's going to be a busy year with a LOT of freebies!
:bulletgreen: First of all is the Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL that I've written a journal about before: Weavers Tapestry Band Sampler SAL. The patterns are given every Wednesday. It's off to a good start with quite a few people join in in - the Facebook group I made is over 450 people strong! It's amazing!
:bulletgreen: Also every Wednesday is my WIP Wednesday post where I show everyone what I've bee
The reindeer game: How to play and what to expect
Hiya,
If you are reading this you are already playing the reindeer game - or thinking of doing it. If you haven't played the yearly Halloween-HQ (https://www.deviantart.com/halloween-hq) game and you have started this one you may not know what to do and perhaps are wondering why you keep getting told to do something that appears to make no sense. So here is your one stop shop on what to do and how to do it :D
If all is well you start the game off by reading this journal:
The journal leads you to the next part of the game after which you will be sent on to your first reindeer. :la: :la:
When you get to a profile of ANY reindeer or other character: Do not note the character!
